Browsing the selection, you’ll see work by Eugène Delacroix, Berthe Morisot, Man Ray, Milton Avery, and Anish Kapoor alongside sculptures and objects from ancient China, India, and Rome. The featured artworks are accompanied by short essays written by a variety of art historians, journalists, and scholars from across the United States. Also included in the book is an essay by SBMA Director Larry J.
